Policy on Handling Cases Requiring Corrections

In accordance with COPE and ICMJE guidelines, the Journal of Ayub Medical College issues corrections when errors are identified in published articles that do not invalidate the overall findings or conclusions. Corrections may address inaccuracies in data presentation, author details, affiliations, figures, tables, or text. All requests for correction are evaluated by the Editor and authors may be required to provide supporting documentation. Approved corrections are published promptly, clearly linked to the original article, and labeled to describe the nature of the amendment, ensuring transparency while preserving the integrity of the scholarly record.
